Hey man this game is fantastic! I have a few suggestions that I thought would be pretty good, quick disclaimer though I have not played through the whole game yet. Alright so first off I think it would be really cool if you could change your hair or face, however I know this would mess with the picture gallery and the art you have already done a lot so take that one as a grain of salt. However, I do think it would be really nice if you could change your clothes and have it actually show. My next few things have to do with being a vampire. I think it would be awesome if you could summon or have those tentacle type things that Veviene or whatever her name was had, and/or if you could have some kind of blood magic type of thing. Another thing that I think would be really cool is if you could become like the Vampire Queen or something like that or become your master’s master or kill your master and if you could have a bunch of underlings or thralls(maybe even a castle or something that would fit a vampire of high status). Next I think it would really improve the combat if you added some attack animations of some sort. Lastly, I just think it would be awesome if you just added more story(particularly for the vampire side). I am really loving what you have done so far, I look forward to seeing how you progress!
I understand that you have been having trouble making the Bat Form more useful for the players. My idea is that you could make it so you can fly over obstacles. The speed increase is nice, but most of the game needs far more maneuverability than speed. How I recommend implementing this suggestion is by creating 3 kinds of collision. Normal collision works like normal, but can be flown over while in bat form and prevents shifting back into true form. Bat collision prevents you from entering a tile in bat form, but allows you to enter it in true form. The idea is to prevent you from entering doors in bat form (bats can’t open doors) or triggering events. Finally, you have super collision that reacts to any collision tag, and is supposed to prevent out of bounds glitches
Agreed. I was just saying how I, someone with zero experience in game design, would modify the idea. Probably something that would be easier to implement would be a combat modification. I like the idea of sacrificing damage and defense for evasion, but I tried it out in the game and got hit 12 for 12 and was doing scratch damage. I think 50-75% dodge chance in exchange for losing 90% damage would be better, though I imagine that it would take a bit of play testing to find the right balance.
No. The vampire route will not feature any bad endings for failing battles. Lycanthropes could still appear in the main route in future updates however.
I cant figure out how to get to the menu in the android app and if you go to change the settings at the main menu there is no way of getting out of the settings.
There should be a save folder already included in the game's folders. Check to see that when you create a new save, a new save file appears in the saves folder. If it does, try copying that save file to somewhere else on your computer for safe keeping and manually move it back to the save folder before you restart. There shouldn't be any setting in my game that should cause your save file to delete itself, but whatever is going on, this should solve your issue.
By any chance are you using a save file from a previous version? I had another player show me this same screenshot and the issue was that they were using an incompatible save file.

i havent finished the game yet . so far im at the part were amber is having me go over seas to meet the king . doing some side stuff exploring . aaaand got my rear munched on by nosforatus but kinda was hoping that becoming a vanpire wpuld be a seperate story and not a game over. maybe there is and i just havent found it yet . but other then that its all very well put together with unique characters and plot
yea lol litterary an hour after i pisred this i found the dorian line ....i facepalmed pretty hard . but its only a demo the lines not done . eager to see it complete. hope its as detailed as the primary line . like and alternate story .
Just finished the whole game demo, It's so good and well made! If this was on steam I'd really buy it! I should tell my friends who has fetishes over monsters try this game on for a change. Still was that horse and wagon separation a bug or what? I'm confused and find myself laughing when the wagon got separated from it's horse but still continues on moving.
hopefully there are more contracts like hunting werewolves or infernal demons (HellHounds, etc.) which would cause you to transform into them when you lose against them that is... Its just an opinion for future contracts since we all knew that Mila is a hunter who hunts creatures of the night. (creatures of the night doesn't just pertain to vampires, it is everything that haunts the human beings.)

Just finished the content available. I was quite surprised about the alternate path given to become a vampire. (Refused to look at the guide unless I was stuck and couldn't think of any alternatives.) In all seriousness I agree with Dorian views. People fear what they do not understand. I am now anxious to see what you do with the story line from here. Especially with Mila's past.
So many questions it makes the mind race. As for Bianca, oh what an adorable little thing. I spared her life and now she is the sweetest little pet. Could eat her up. :)
Just started playing this last night. A bit stop and start difficulty wise I feel. Im not afraid of a challenge but I feel the RNG on the attacks, especially on bosses make them very difficult and sometimes downright frustrating. (Been stuck on the Clara boss for about 15 attempts now.) Other than that the story premises is very well done and I felt like failing on purpose just to see the "bad" endings for Mila. :P
Some players have difficulty with different bosses. If a boss is giving you trouble, try taking on a different quest and coming back to it later. There’s plenty of opportunity to get stronger as you progress the main story! :)

Yeah... I was aware of this issue lol. The sprites are separate, so they come apart often. I made a joke of it actually, if you speak with the horse carriage. Look at it as a feature and not a bug! :)

For some reason, I forgot turn the audio back up in the main menu settings when I released this version. You just need to adjust audio settings in the in-game menu to fix this. My apologies.

Actually speaking of the drinking so the bar scene, using the unofficial android port I was able to play but that scene kept bugging if you used any chair other then the very bottom one at the empty table. It kept crashing because it couldn't load the image when the text box tried to load.
And what happened to the vampire that appears in the 'getting drunk in the tavern 'til you get raped in the local barn' bad ending? She had a unique appearance and she later appears in the 'read Mila's diary and have her give in to her urges' bad ending. Or is that a different vampire?
So what's Claudia(Dorian's third bride)'s deal anyway? Pre-Vampire route she's friendly, kinda ditzy and thrilled at making Mila one of them. Post-awakening as a vampire her disposition is the complete opposite(Mila notes this) to the point of being hostile. Did I miss something or is there a spoilery, plot reason for it?
I think I had this bug. You mean after you walk through the gate? I had to touch a specific tile two or three blocks ahead inside of the gate to activate them
You level up by trading in vampire materials that you collect from defeating vampires (dust, fang, heart) . Bring them to Faahlda, the woman with the black hair at your home base.
I've encountered a bug in the Blood Temple contract. After following Astoria through the maze to Alaexa, I can't interact with either of them. Their models aren't solid(I'm able to walk through both of them). Help?
Since Mila has an in-game fetish for vampires and fantasizes about being fucked by a vampire, it means that Bianca is actually the perfect partner for her, since Bianca has no desire to drink blood or harm people. Mila could have her fantasy, without any negative consequences.
Also, I hope we get more story with that succubus, either in this game, or a sequel (or both).
Another thing I'd like to see, is a Nosferatu Queen, a stronger version who still has her intelligence intact, and her own bad end scene.
For now, you are meant to lose to him to access the vampire route. The plan is to make it possible to beat him eventually, since I envision him as a late game extra boss. There’s no scene added in even if you do beat him.
Yeah, but, WHY? She specifically does it to not become a vampire, that's not just apparent it's explained. So why kill herself for no reason when we could just hand her a holy water and she wouldn't become a Vampire anyway??????
Perhaps Evelyn felt that she was too far gone to be cured? Sometimes game logic needs to be ignored for the sake of the narrative. Evelyn needed to die so that Lucy could join Mila later in the story. Its a lame explanation, but it is what it is. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
To be blunt, if she needed to die, then kill her. Don't but a character in a position where they are easily saved in seconds and then say no when we try to save them. Just kill them outright.
Example: Fight against the bookworm. We both have full health. I attack. She infects me with the virus. I purify myself using holy water. She infects me again and I die.
The bite attack has roughly 50% accuracy. It can be the vampire’s most deadly move and I implemented that move on every vampire to keep players on their toes. As long as you keep your health high, the bookworm is balanced to be beaten at level 1. Come prepared with plenty of healing items and if you run short on gold you can always hunt slimes for a bit more. You’ll have more options to grow your character the further in you play.
I wanted to heal myself. But in the first turn I attacked because I was at full health, in the second one I used the Holy Water, in the third turn I was already dead.
The Bookworm just used the bite attack two times in a row, hitting both times. You can't really counter that.
That's rotten luck. All I can really tell you is to bring more healing items and watch your health. The bookworm's attack stat is pretty low and the vampire status takes 1/5 of your total health at the end of each turn. She shouldn't b able to beat you on the third turn even at level 1 unless she managed to crit you, in which case, extremely bad luck since the enemy's crit rate is extremely low. I apologize if the beginning of the game is frustrating for you.
Wow. I knew I'm unlucky, but I didn't expect to be that unlucky. Maybe you could add that inexperienced vampires can only use normal attacks the next turn after having successfully bitten Mila? Maybe they have to reload their teeth.
That wouldn't really make it easier, but would prevent two bites in a row, which is pretty frustrating.
And completely unrelated feedback: It's a bit confusing that second and third are capitalized in the books in the library.

I resolved It redownloading the apk and now everything is going smoothly.

Yeah that is likely the route I will go when it comes to fixing the skill.

Bug: Screen is black after cutscene following Bianca's first fight with a ghoul.
I can move around and interact with different objects to get dialog, but it's quite difficult to progress the story.

I'm a bit dim. Hoow do I get a new contract? I finished the first one and she just says "I've already completed this contract."
More become available in chapter 2. Sleep in Mila’s bed if you finished the plot in the library to advance the story.

For now, you are meant to lose to him to access the vampire route. The plan is to make it possible to beat him eventually, since I envision him as a late game extra boss. There’s no scene added in even if you do beat him.

Yeah, but, WHY? She specifically does it to not become a vampire, that's not just apparent it's explained. So why kill herself for no reason when we could just hand her a holy water and she wouldn't become a Vampire anyway??????
Perhaps Evelyn felt that she was too far gone to be cured?
Sometimes game logic needs to be ignored for the sake of the narrative. Evelyn needed to die so that Lucy could join Mila later in the story. Its a lame explanation, but it is what it is. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
To be blunt, if she needed to die, then kill her. Don't but a character in a position where they are easily saved in seconds and then say no when we try to save them. Just kill them outright.
The battles are way too hard right now.
Example: Fight against the bookworm. We both have full health. I attack. She infects me with the virus. I purify myself using holy water. She infects me again and I die.
There's too much RNG.
The bite attack has roughly 50% accuracy. It can be the vampire’s most deadly move and I implemented that move on every vampire to keep players on their toes. As long as you keep your health high, the bookworm is balanced to be beaten at level 1. Come prepared with plenty of healing items and if you run short on gold you can always hunt slimes for a bit more. You’ll have more options to grow your character the further in you play.
I wanted to heal myself. But in the first turn I attacked because I was at full health, in the second one I used the Holy Water, in the third turn I was already dead.
The Bookworm just used the bite attack two times in a row, hitting both times. You can't really counter that.
That's rotten luck. All I can really tell you is to bring more healing items and watch your health. The bookworm's attack stat is pretty low and the vampire status takes 1/5 of your total health at the end of each turn. She shouldn't b able to beat you on the third turn even at level 1 unless she managed to crit you, in which case, extremely bad luck since the enemy's crit rate is extremely low. I apologize if the beginning of the game is frustrating for you.
Wow. I knew I'm unlucky, but I didn't expect to be that unlucky. Maybe you could add that inexperienced vampires can only use normal attacks the next turn after having successfully bitten Mila? Maybe they have to reload their teeth.
That wouldn't really make it easier, but would prevent two bites in a row, which is pretty frustrating.
And completely unrelated feedback: It's a bit confusing that second and third are capitalized in the books in the library.
