The most recent poll ended in a landslide and the vast majority of you voted to see a new vampire type in Bianca's Diary! This week, I got to work sketching both the new vampire type as well as new boss for the upcoming contract.

On the left is the Nachzehrer: a rabid vampire resembling a gaunt, unfed corpse. They have large fangs used to pierce even the thickest hide.  They are often found in dank caves, clinging to the walls and ceilings waiting to get the jump on unsuspecting prey. They are similar to Nosferatu in that they are more beast-like than human. They leave their human victims drained and gaunt, infecting them and creating more cave-dwelling beasts.

On the right is a monster girl known as an Hirnlienne (pronounced "urn-line"). They feed upon the memories and thoughts of humans by sucking them out with the various tentacles on their bodies. Upon being drained, the victims are imprinted by the Hirnlienne and are overwhelmed with ecstacy as their intelligence diminishes. The victims continually seek to be drained, allowing the Hirnlienne easy access to meals. In rare cases, women who have been drained are turning into Hirnliennes themselves.

I got a few other sketches done this week, but they are of the ending scenes for the both of these monsters. I'd rather not share spoilers this early on! Art-wise, this week turned out to be productive! I have also started working on the digital color for the sketches I shared last week. Two are done, with one more nearing completion.

I want to share some important information regarding this upcoming update: While playing as Bianca, I have added a plugin which adds multiple different inventories. This is so that the items/weapons/equipment/etc are not in Bianca's inventory when you begin playing and that once you return to playing as Mila, you will regain your items. It definitely wouldn't make sense to obtain items in Bianca's diary and add them Mila's inventory, so I felt that this addition was necessary. 

Unfortunately, unless you start a new game (or use the save files that I will provide for you), you will run into a game crashing error upon starting Bianca's story. I apologize for this inconvenience if you are a player that has been using a previous save, but I will be sure to include a save file with more quests completed so that you won't have to redo so much of your lost progress. This change will be added to the vampire route as well.
