WEEKLY UPDATE!! 3/20/22
Another week done and I'm finally on Spring Break! I'm glad my new job provides these breaks because I could definitely use some spaced out time dedicated to working on the game. Yesterday was a productive day, but let me tell you, it is TOUGH thinking of what to show you all in these updates without spoiling too much! But, I feel like I've said that like, a hundred times at this point (I will say it again in the future, guaranteed). Let's get into what I can show you today!
This is a screenshot of the Tundra Trail, which leads to the Tundra Tower. This dangerously icy trail is home to the Fuyukiba enemy, whose frozen victims can be found on the road to the tower. Be careful not to fall prey to their frosty touch, or Mila will share their fate!
Dorian's battle now has a proper ending! For all of you mad lads who managed to beat him and were disappointed that the scene just.... ends, fret no more! While Dorian is tough, I managed to beat him at around level 34, with all of the skills unlocked and a good set of equipment. He has some moves that can be devastating, but they can be telegraphed, so watch the battle text for the tells.
He will be much more difficult if you challenge him before chapter 4, since the final chapters will provide you with the opportunity to get some items and skills that should make the fight more manageable. However, the scene will change slightly depending on whether you encounter him before or after the end of chapter 4. So for those of you crazy people who find him too easy compared to when I had his HP at an absurd amount, fight him early for a challenge run lol.

Does the fuyukiba boss will have a bad ending?
It will actually have two endings.
Is there will be a fuyukiba chapter ending or an arc in this game after you’ve lost to the boss?
The Fuyukiba is a standard enemy encountered in one of the new areas during chapter 5. They have no story relevance, so you can choose whether you want to fight/lose to them.
Hmm... Level 34. When I last fought Dorian, I was at 31 and I grabbed a lot of things to prepare myself. I am not sure how hard this "finalized" Dorian is, but I am hopeful that I can still beat him before chapter 5.
On that note, I thought the fight would still be "unbeatable" if you challenge Dorian before chapter 5. Like, it is designed that you can't continue past this point unless the player reaches chapter 5. But if you do reach chapter 5, you're locked out from the vampire route. I think this because the further you go into the main story, the vampire route makes less and less sense. The fates of certain characters wouldn't sync correctly and certain plot points surrounding the MacGuffins would become plot holes.
Yeah, I stated in a previous update that going into chapter 5 locks you out of the vampire route even if you lose to Dorian specifically due to story related reasons. Beating him before then is also possible, though rather difficult.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. But sticking to the same point; I think chapter 4 has a few points that conflict with the vampire route. I feel that once Mila has cleared the "dungeon" of the chapter, it becomes unbelievable and inconsistent to still enter the vampire route.
