Welcome to the New Year everybody!

I’ve been taking this week easy. Catching up with friends, family, and attempting to get back into an exercise routine. I dropped the ball a bit towards the end of the year due to stress, but with my biggest update yet behind me, I want to return to healthier habits (and you should too!)

However, the next update is always floating around in my mind, and I’ve been brewing up ideas for what’s coming down the pipeline. As I’ve stated endlessly, the next update will be for the Vampire Route (finally!) However, for now I want to work on something smaller scale, different, and sexy. The Vampire Route needs to be fleshed out substantially before I return to its story and what I feel it desperately needs is more side quests!

Today I’m announcing, User-Submitted Contract Contest, Round #8! But… this will be the first contest where you will be tasked with creating a side-quest for the vampire route! (Rules will be shared on a separate post after this)

Similarly to the last round, I will be selecting 8 of the ideas I like the most and I will have you all vote on which 2 ideas will be added into the game! The deadline to submit your idea is next Saturday, 1/6/22, so get those ideas written down now! 

Originally, my plan was for there to be no bad endings within the vampire route. The idea was that you were the one handing out the bad endings to the vampire hunters. However upon reflection, that seems creatively limiting. I’ve decided that other monster girls can exist in the vampire route and losing to them will result in a bad ending. Losing to human hunters will still result in a flat game over. Despite Mila being an ancient vampire, there are still monsters out there capable of having their way with her, especially since Mila’s powers are so new. (It's not unprecedented for a vampire to fall to another monster after all!)

It’s been a while since I have touched the vampire route myself, so I plan to play through it to get a refresher on the tone of the story. That brings me to my next point. What is it that YOU want to see out of a vampire route? I can’t guarantee every idea will be added in, but I would like to know what the community’s priorities are! I know that this update has been a long time coming for many of you, so I want to get in as many goodies as I'm able to fit in here!

I am also opening 2 slots for commissioned characters. If you are unfamiliar, I am able to add in your original character, into either route, as either a vampire hunter or a monster, where the player can engage with them in a boss battle. I’ve added in 5 OCs so far, and yours could be next! For the character art, bad ending art/biting art, and writing I will charge $120. All of the commissions must be approved by me before they are accepted. If you are interested, I will ONLY be responding to requests sent to me via direct message on Patreon or to the email shown above. I post these updates on many sites at once and I don't want your request to be lost in the shuffle. It's just easier for me to manage the requests that way.

There’s plenty of room for growth here and I am excited to see where this route ultimately goes! Get excited for 2023, because you’re about to see a lot more vampy content!
