This week, I have continued focusing on artwork, scanning in my hand drawn sketches and beginning work on the digital color versions. Since I have a lot to work on at once, I decided to set a goal of doing just the line art for each of the characters first. I often find myself demotivated after finishing an illustration, only to move on to the next one and have to start the drawing/editing process over again. With this system, I've given myself smaller, achievable goals each day while keeping that lacking feeling of motivation in check. Using this method, I have finished the linework for each of my previous sketches and have used the weekend to start filling them in with flat colors.

In contrast to her design, here is the finished version of Luna, her cute cat familiar:

Not only do their designs contrast, but so will their personalities. Once I begin writing the script, I want that to come across clearly through your conversations with them.
