WEEKLY UPDATE 12/29/24

Happy Holidays, everyone! I hope you’ve all had a fantastic week celebrating, relaxing, and spending time with loved ones. This year, I was lucky enough to receive a new Wacom pen for my tablet as a Christmas gift, and it’s been such a joy to use already. It feels great to have a fresh tool to help improve my workflow as I dive into more creative work.

While I was at my sister’s place for the holidays, I balanced family time with getting a bit of drawing done. I managed to sketch these two scenes:

On top of that, I finished the colored version of Liora's max support illustration, which I’m thrilled to share with all of you. Here’s a preview of what to expect

$5+ tier patrons can now view the full version, and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it!

Looking ahead, I have most of the upcoming week off, and I’m planning to take full advantage of this free time to focus on the game. There’s a lot I’m hoping to accomplish, and I’m feeling energized to make significant progress. Thank you all for your continued support, and here’s to a productive and creative week ahead!

So...I've become increasingly curious about where you get your ideas for some of your monsters like the hernliene and whezzia, I've been trying to learn more about the creatures online and couldn't find anything.  Did you create them or are they already existing mythological creatures that aren't really well recorded?

I’ve held multiple idea contests for the contracts on my Patreon which is where the premise of their quest lines come from. Whezzia was a name I came up with for the “Bee Girl” race and Hirnlienne was a name I came up with for a monster that is meant to act like a mind flayer. It comes from the German word for “brain”.

Wow, that's pretty impressive! They definitely feel like they could be real mythological creatures.
